How to start a blog – My WordPress Blog – Episode 3
Now that you have added your text into your blog like we covered in Episode 1 and how to add pictures in Episode 2, it is time to get ready to put the final touches on your blog by doing some SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s search results. Basically the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list like Google, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users.
Blog posts without some SEO may take longer for your target audience to find your article. With some practice, and some initial research, it doesn’t take very long to do if you get into the habit. With SEO Processor I make a little game out of the exercise by trying to get the high score. It gives me the tips I need to help improve my score.
