“How to Make Money Using the Law of Circulation” written by Guest Contributor.
A new study from Bank of America found that American millionaires give nine percent of their income to charity.
The typical ultra-high net worth (UHNW) philanthropist donates $25 million over the course of their lifetime; more than 10 percent of their net worth.
Celebrities and the Law of Circulation
Warren Buffett and Bill Gates took the 10 percent even higher, arguing through their Giving Pledge organization that the rich should give away at least half their wealth.
Oprah Winfrey personally donates more of her own money to charity than any other show-business celebrity in America. In 2005 she became the first black person listed by Business Week as one of America’s top 50 most generous philanthropists, having given an estimated $250 million Her philanthropy has included a $10 million donation to Katrina relief.
John D. Rockefeller, one of the fathers of American philanthropy, tithed 10 percent of his income to his church ever since his first paycheck.
Just as in Rockefeller’s time, religious organizations get the largest gifts, followed by education and health services.
Become A Millionaire Using the Law of Circulation
Fully 89 percent of millionaires gave their time to charities (as well as their money) in 2011, with more than half of the millionaires giving more than 100 hours of their time.
If you start thinking and acting like a millionaire now and give at least 10% of your time/ money to the charity of your choice you’re sending a message to the universe that you trust there will always be more…
The Law of Circulation
The Law of Circulation states that all things in the Universe are always flowing in circulation at an ever expanding rate.
“When it comes to experiencing an abundant flow of money and wealth, the problem can be stagnation.
There IS no circulation.
And therein lies a huge challenge.
In the stuck, stagnant, seemingly non-existent flow, the tendency is to engage in habits of thinking and being that KEEP one out of circulation.
I mean, on some level, it would make sense to hold back, “tighten the purse strings” and to hang on to what you’ve got.” -Kendra Thornbury
Get What You Want
In Tony Burroughs book, “Get What You Want,” he uses this analogy about money…
“Look at how the kitchen faucet works. When we open the valve the water comes in and the water goes out. It’s the same with money and our resources; we close off the flow of good things coming to us by our thought of lack and our subsequent acts of hoarding. By the same token, we open the faucet of our abundance and keep it open by spending, not frivolously, but responsibly. When we spend without worrying about it we send a message to the universe that we have enough of everything we need and that we trust that there will always be more when we need it. It is this posture that delivers our abundant life to us.”
Build You Wealth Using the Law of Circulation
If you want to expand your abundance and experience the Law of Circulation at work, I encourage you to give wherever you feel led.
I give wherever I feel spiritually fed, even if it’s a server at a restaurant that says something that gives me a new perspective.
You may want to consider giving most where you can be personally involved in a philanthropy.
Give even when you feel you can’t.
ESPECIALLY when you think you can’t.
Give to causes that are in line with your mission.
If you have a goal of making a certain amount of money in your business, it’s best to think now about which charities resonate with you
You can start small. You will be telling the universe you are ready for more and it will open you to a deeper understanding of currency and the exchange of life.
