The first step when it comes to any marketing strategy is research. This will help you know your audience’s preferences. 

Furthermore, you’ll also have to determine who your competitors are and what they’re up to. 

Plus, you also need to keep a keen eye on the trending topics. Make sure that these are topics that your audience will be interested in. 

From there, you can build your content around it.

  1. Go to Video Manager, click your account > Creator Studio > Video Manager > Videos.
  2. Select the video you want to add Captions/Subtitle, click the drop-down menu.
  3. Select Subtitles / CC (Closed Caption) CC button.
  4. Choose how you want to add or edit subtitles (upload a file, transcribe, or use automatic captioning)

Now, you can add subtitles to your videos! 


Another important thing that you need to remember when creating your content for your YouTube video marketing is the use of Call-To-Action (CTA). 

The CTA is your way of letting viewers know what you want them to do at the end of the video.  

For instance, you can create an introductory video and then by the end of that video, you can ask them to like and subscribe to your channel.
